Pastor shared about the Book of Proverbs yesterday. Did you know that "wisdom is the principal thing"? (Proverbs 4:7) For us believers, Christ is our wisdom. Proverbs has 31 chapters. Try reading one each day of the month! The awesome thing about the Bible is that the same chapter can speak to us again and again, in different places, to fulfill our need.

It's the last hour of my birthday. What my CG did for me was astounding.

You see, our loving group celebrates everyone's birthdays as a surprise. So for the whole year I expected something for mine too. But 5th Sep(when my DG met me for my birthday, thanks guys!)came and went, and it seemed like nobody knew.

Oh well, I was slightly disappointed. Though I didn't really feel sad, my expectations for a surprise celebration this year dropped to zero.

You know how they say a surprise is a surprise only when you don't expect it?

It came today after 3rd service. I was stunned and shocked. But most of all, happy.

Thanks everyone! Today is a memorable day. Connect '09 was awesome too!
