Hey, guys. Didn't even get to finals. But the other representative of CJC won first place. He is really something else. Had only 2 public speaking competitions IN HIS LIFE and won FIRST PLACE in both, this time beating the likes of ACJC and RI. And he only started gaining experience THIS YEAR, same as me.
Of course I'm happy for him but i hope that teachers won't use ONLY HIM for now on. I want to join more competitions!!! But really, praise God that I was even selected to represent my school. I want to win, but I want God's will for my life even more. That was the other guy's sentiment too.
I wanted to pour out my dejections when I met my CG for PLAY at Sentosa, but I didn't get the chance to. Instead, the clean sea breeze and a round of frisbee snapped me out of my dejection!
We had Praise and Worship under the darkening sky with the sand as our carpet. I didn't feel much for some reason but there were moments that touched me as well.
