Hey all,

Typing this on the last day of the debates competition(SMU Hammers)I participated in from Saturday to Sunday.

Out of the 48 teams which participated, only 2 teams failed to win anything. Mine was one of them. But I enjoyed the experience tremendously! The battle of wit, the strategy, the manipulation, the duel of words, the obscuring... Debating is pretty addictive. And I was sent to gain experience, not to win(experienced only 2 debates before entering)(winning at least once would have been nice, but 3 times we lost by a split decision)(why so many brackets?)


Buried in the ashes of defeat is an ember of experience. The next time I return, That ember would have kindled into a raging fire!

All glory to Jesus, I really thank God for the experience!
