Can I count this as an indicator for a positive change??? Dare I???
What the heaven, I shall.
After school today a small group (about 5-8) of people in my class and I hung around to talk. I realised many things about these people that I never assumed before. For example, we were playing a game called "First Impressions" where we were to reveal what we thought of another classmate when we first met at orientation.
And more than one person thought I was cool because I write poetry.
...
Whaaaaaaat????
Firstly, that's the SECOND time someone thought me cool. Secondly, I always thought that it was poetry that excluded me from the class. Now I feel more confident that my class has nice people. Let the icebreaking begin!
By the way, its a little late but I'll be one of two representatives for CJC in the TPJC oratorical! Truly by God's grace... I literally blanked out and said whatever came to my mind during the trials, beating more experienced people and even one DSAdebator!
