Went out with the dg for indoor rock-climbing at Safra Yishun yesterday. I managed to make Mindy 10 minutes early! Haha I bet no one would expect her to be early. Maybe (hopefully) the earliness trait an continue in her? Linus was VERY early though, reached Yishun MRT before anyone else.
Ate lunch and reached the site at 12.30pm. Since the opening time was 1pm, we played polar bear and wink murderer. Wink murderer was funny, almost everyone somehow refused to die despite being winked at so many times. LOL. Yeu mahn managed to join us by skipping class. I don't know what to think of it but his presence did contribute to one thing...
(... thanks to him I was flattened twice! With Linus on top! Man I've escaped this sort of thing throughout 10 years of schooling and today it happens twice. Sob. No worries it ended up okay.)
Finally when we entered, everyone started having fun bouncing around the cushiony floors and climbing the walls. Me, I did very little of climbing. No confidence, and I'd rather play 'catching', which I started by tapping Linus. Who knew that that single act could spawn a highly entertaining chase with lots of funny moments. Linus was primarily lying on the floor, rolling towards people to tag them. So funny! Yinlin actually threatened to KICK him if he tagged her! Why so serious lol?
Suddenly the game changed to 'ice and water', which I've always known as 'iceman'. Siying (who coincidentally was the only one late since she lives in Malaysia) tried very hard to freeze all of us but failed. Lol there were just too many people. We decided to play it again with 2 icemen but somehow after a short break, we ended up playing 'animals'. I was the only fictional animal, being a Pikachu. LOL.
After that game, we did a bit more climbing and Russell had to leave early. Waiting to battle his (hopefully legit) Pokemon soon!
We also tried to do a jumpshot and we made some poor random guy in the same room as us take lots of pictures of us trying but failing to get caught while jumping. Haha, if you are that person and you've stumbled on this blog, sorry :)
Siying (as usual) had to leave early. I pray that she won't have to leave so early in the future, Russell too.
After that, on an impromptu decision, Linus, Ade and I decided to go to my house for a while (they both didn't feel like going home just yet). Met Mindy who actually left earlier too but happened to be on the same MRT as us! Praise the Lord who puts us all at the right time, in the right place!
Played with the Nintendo Wii with Mindy, Linus and Ade. Super Smash Brothers : Brawl was so fun! In fact Ade and Linus left later than planned as they were awestruck by the POWER of the WII. Lol haha.
All in all I thank God for yesterday. All my troubles seemed so far away(kinda). Wow this must be the longest post I have ever typed. Ah my DG, I really love you guys a lot =)
